Staggered Column – Balanced formation for roads and patrols with alternating left/right spacing.
Wedge – Fast and flexible, ideal for open terrain.
Echelon – For flanking or covering open sides.
Firing Line – Maximum firepower to the front.
ARD/Diamond – 360° security at halts or in dangerous areas.
Nato L: Ambush setups, corner security, and urban environments.
Movement Discipline:
Keep eyes on your sector of responsibility.
Match the pace of your leader; don’t bunch up.
Use hand signals and radio comms appropriately when moving under stealth.
Formations and movement techniques are covered extensively during BCT and AIT. Know your position—stay alive.
